WorldVitalRecords.com Broadens its International Focus and Assists Users in Finding the Best Links To Access Information About Their Ancestors
International genealogy community pages have been built for 30 countries and are FREE to access at WorldVitalRecords.com.
On January 26, 2007, WorldVitalRecords.com made an announcement about the 11 international pages it had launched. Now two weeks later, WorldVitalRecords.com has launched 19 more international pages with additional pages to follow.
“The purpose of these search engines is to help any genealogist at any level, from any country, find more information to further their research. Try it out. Search names, cemeteries, historical maps, traditions, cultures, histories, archives. Learn about traveling to the native land, native genealogy societies and look at other family trees,” said Amy Rhoads, Director Research and Development/Community Building.
The international pages are FREE and SIMPLE to access. Go to WorldVitalRecords.com. Click on International in the top header in the middle of the page. Click on the country page you wish to access.
Currently each country page contains a custom search engine which can be used to access the top genealogical and family history Web sites related to that country. Keywords related to the country historical background, languages, provinces, map of country, and a flag are also available.
Individuals who wish to submit a link for a particular country or who would like to provide input as to countries for which they would like WorldVitalRecords.com to build a search engine site should send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
