Heart etched in sidewalk

WorldVitalRecords.com launched 50 Canadian marriage databases today (August 20, 2007). These databases are from the Quintin Publications Collection and will be free to access until August 30, 2007. The databases go back as far as 1668 up until 1985.

Each database is a typescript transcription of the original records and is completely searchable. Most records include the date, the names of both the bride, groom and the parents of the couple. Some records also include witnesses and the name of the priest. These records are of great importance for anyone researching their French-Canadian ancestry.

Here is a list of the collection. Click here to access each database.
